Overview
Hillexium Blocker helps you block distracting websites during focus sessions. Most extension data stays in your browser. Cloud synchronization is used only after you connect the extension to your Hillexium account.
Data stored locally
The extension stores your blocklist, allowlist, schedule, focus state, strict-mode preference and blocked-attempt count in Chrome local storage. This information is required to apply the blocking rules and show your current focus state.
Data synchronized with Hillexium
When you connect an account, Hillexium synchronizes your goals and task stages, selected focus task, language, visual settings, focus durations, work-mode state and blocked-sites list. The service also stores a hashed connection token and account identifier so the extension can access only your synchronized data.
Browsing activity
Hillexium Blocker does not collect or transmit your browsing history or page contents. Chrome's Declarative Net Request system compares navigation requests with rules created from your blocklist. The extension may read the active tab only when needed for a feature you invoke.
Use and sharing
We use extension data only to provide blocking, focus and synchronization features. We do not sell extension data, use it for advertising, or share it with unrelated third parties.
Security and control
Synchronization uses HTTPS. Connection tokens are stored locally by Chrome and only their cryptographic hashes are stored by the service. You can revoke an extension session by signing out in the extension. You can also remove local extension data by uninstalling the extension or clearing its storage.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as Hillexium changes. The latest version and its revision date will remain available on this page. For privacy questions, use the support contact shown on the Hillexium Chrome Web Store listing.
